Third year in a row the “Valley of Winds” is inviting everybody who is passionate about ecology and alternative lifestyle to gather for community lessons – entertainment lasting for three days – 10-12th of August.
Main purpose of the “Valley of Winds” is to unionize people who are ecology-minded, stimulate sense of sociality and spread new ideas. Our work is based on collective creativity, non-commercialism and volunteer work.
Everybody, who is willing to spend three days camping, learning, being together, widening horizons, is welcome at the festival. We promise that there will be plenty activities for everybody.
Festival consists of three parts:
Mind – lessons for developing knowledge in ecology, alternative education and other fields. Lessons are lectured by practitioners and supplemented with practical seminars, viewings of documentaries.
Body – physical activities designated for body development and active leisure: hikes, bike treks, Frisbee, orienteering, juggling, sauna and midnight swimming in the lake.
Soul – entertainment to revive your soul: various ecological workshops, creation of earth mandala, fairy tales, concerts.
So we invite you to actively join the creation of the “Valley of Winds” community, to share your knowledge, to lecture and tutor, to create workshops. We are open to all propositions. Also you could contribute by spreading information about the festival in your websites, communities, blogs, other virtual or paper channels, so the message about the festival could reach people on the right time.
We are not sponsored by any commercial organizations so the volunteer work of each individual is much appreciated.
